Head Coach

Volunteer As a Head Coach

Coaching a Girls on the Run or Heart & Sole team is the most rewarding way to get involved with Girls on the Run. You get to experience our program first hand, facilitate the award-winning Girls on the Run curriculum, inspire a team of 8-20 girls in your community, and build relationships with your incredible team and co-coaches. Our coaches say they get as much out of our program as our girls!

The Head Coach takes on a leadership role, attending both weekly Girls on the Run sessions during the 10-week season, facilitating the pre-planned lessons and workouts, and communicating with the Council Director, site liaison, and your team’s parents/guardians.
